Terms of Service

Effective June 10, 2026

These terms govern your use of stetbot.com ("stetbot", "the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

What stetbot is

stetbot is an AI-assisted self-check tool. You provide a rubric and your own work, and stetbot produces sentence-level feedback and an estimated score. It is a study aid — not a replacement for a teacher's judgment, and not an official grade.

Your account and your content

Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the service — including attempting to circumvent rate limits or tier restrictions, probing or attacking the infrastructure, reselling access, or using the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans and billing

Availability and changes

stetbot is provided "as is" and "as available". The service is in active development; features may change, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify these terms — material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and noted in the changelog.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, stetbot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including academic outcomes or decisions made based on AI-generated feedback. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using stetbot and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
